There’s too much noise around mental health today:
Quick fixes
Pop psychology
People selling unverified advice as therapy.
Unclutter Mind was created to bring clarity, real support, and authenticity to this space.
The idea came to me during the pandemic when I saw a flood of misinformation about mental health. Unqualified people were offering "solutions" that often did more harm than good, and I realized that people needed a place they could trust. A space where mental health wasn’t treated like a trend, but with the care and expertise it deserves.
But Unclutter Mind isn’t just about therapy, it’s also for psychology students.
The Goal Behind Unclutter Mind
Why?
Because I’ve Been Where You Are
Like most students, I was expected to follow the "ideal" career path. Scoring 98% in my 10th CBSE boards, I had the freedom to explore any field, but society had already decided for me, medical was the way to go. And for a while, I believed it too.
Then reality hit. Two months into 11th grade, I felt trapped. My classmates studied even during recess, attended six hour coaching sessions, and were constantly chasing marks. I knew this wasn’t the life I wanted. But what else was there?
I was lost.... until one moment changed everything.
My school arranged a visit to SMS Psychiatric Hospital, Jaipur and at the entrance stood a massive idol of Lord Krishna on his Rath, a reminder of how he guided Arjuna through his anxiety and self doubt in the Mahabharata. That was when it clicked. Psychology wasn’t just a Western concept it had always been a part of our traditions. And that’s when I knew: I wanted to be a psychologist.
Fast forward through years of education: a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, an Advanced Diploma in Counseling and Guidance, an MSc in Psychology, and currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology, I saw not just gaps in people’s understanding of mental health, but also in the way mental health services were provided.
From my early initiative PsychAppetite, which focused on mental health and nutrition, to Unclutter Mind, which has now become a one stop solution for psychology, the goal has always been the same: to make mental health support
Accessible
Ethical
Evidence based
While completing my education in psychology I didn’t just understand mental health better, I saw the struggles of psychology students firsthand.
Where do you find the right mentor?
How do you get practical experience?
How do you navigate a field full of misinformation?
I faced these struggles, and I knew so many others did too. That’s when I expanded Unclutter Mind not just as a space for therapy, but as a support system for psychology students and professionals.
